Residents ONLY (proof such as driver's license, tax bill, etc. is required) are permitted to bring their tree and shrub trimmings to the designated area on Reading Crest Avenue (off Route 61) the first & third Saturday of each month, April through November, between the hours of 9 am and 12 noon for disposal. Employees will be on hand to verify residency and accept or reject all material.

 

The drop off area will also be open the first Wednesday of each month, December through March, between the hours of 8AM and 12 Noon. Trimmings must be no less than three feet long and no more than six inches in diameter. Hedge trimmings, rose and other thorny plants, lumber, leaves, stumps, old firewood, roots, etc., will not be accepted. Christmas trees may be deposited anytime in January. Help protect our staff from injury by leaving the trimmings as large as possible and removing all wire, nails, etc. Disposing of any material any other time is strictly prohibited. Violators will be prosecuted.
